Some stories feel different, feel special when you’re writing them. From the moment Luz blossomed in my mind, I was in love with this intrepid, little owl. This piece weathered 30 rejections before finding a comfy, cozy home in All Worlds Wayfarer. I hope you enjoy this futuristic tale of climate change, unlikely friendships, and survival.
